GABILEY & HARGEISA — Tima-ade University hosted two simultaneous graduation ceremonies on September 9, 2026, across its Gabiley and Hargeisa campuses, celebrating the academic achievements of over 1,000 students entering the workforce. At the main campus in Gabiley, 900 students officially graduated after completing various programs, including Master’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, and Training of Trainers (ToT) certifications. The grand event was attended by key government dignitaries, including the Minister of Education Hon Prof.Ismaaciil Ducaale Yuusuf, Minister of Planning Hon. Kaltuun Sheekh Xasan, several deputy ministers, state officials, alongside the President of Tima-ade University, Dr. Cismaan Aw Yuusuf Magan, and other university leaders. Concurrently, a second ceremony took place at the Hargeisa campus, where 208 students received their diploma certificates after completing specialized professional and vocational training programs. Notable attendees in Hargeisa included the Deputy Minister of Fisheries Hon. Sharmarke, MP Fuaad Axmed, MP Siikaawi, former Deputy Minister Abdixakiin Bustaale, academics, university faculty, and the Director of the Hargeisa Branch Hon. Khalid Maxamed Ismail Hoori. The coordinated events reflect the university's expanding reach across its regional branches, including Hargeisa and Wajaale. University administrators, faculty, and proud parents gathered at both venues to honor the graduates as they prepare to contribute their expertise to the national job market.
